Porch before...Well, I am feeling much better now, nothing more than a sniffle from my flu this past week. Now back to posting things I was going to, days back!
Jason's parents came into town last weekend, and my father in law and Jason got to work on tearing down our screened in porch. One thing I admire about them, they have so much energy, and work so hard on tasks, until it is done. It doesn't matter if it is lunch time, or dark, they keep on going! I admire that very much. We are keeping the porch, just taking the screens down. We feel we will use it more this way, and it will open our backyard up more. Well, did it ever! The result is amazing! I can't wait to get out our hammock, and to find some nice cozy porch furniture for our porch. Jason and I have already decided that the hammock will be a perfect spot for having our quiet time with God. OH! Can't wait. And to be fair, it wasn't only the Baudoin men who worked on the porch. Jason Maas came over and deconstructed with them, and hooked up our new flood lights. Thanks for your help!
Working hard!Porch after, we are planning on painting/staining the wood posts...

Wow! What a huge difference that makes. Your yard is gorgeous and I bet it is nice to look out of your windows and see that now!
