new years CRAFT resolutions

Let's forget about the fact that I vowed to eat better starting in 2011 --already failed. So how about some fun resolutions? In 2011 I hope to take my crafting to the next level, and try some things that I have been wanting to do for a long while.
-Sew a piece of clothing for myself. I already have the pattern and fabric, and can't wait to start this one, although I am super nervous I am gonna mess up. I will be calling on my higher sewing friends and family to aid me in this one, I'm sure.
-Learn to screen print, and print something. I have been researching, reading, watching videos, and it really seems doable, and I already have a print in mind that I want to try, and possibly sell in my shop, PAPER+TWINE. We will see!
-Branch out into different printing techniques. (i.e. screen printing) Gocco is fun and all, but supplies are limited, and I want to broaden my printing abilities. I hope to carve some stamps and get to block printing!
-Sew a quilt. This idea came about when looking at my 2 drawers full of fabric. If I could just gather up all my scraps and sew a quilt, we will be nice and cozy come next winter! I love how this quilt above is coming together, little pops of color, with simple, neutral color. And these paper goods, by Pikku are just beautiful! It's my inspiration!
