asher, 9 months

Asher boy turned 9 months this week.  He's a happy little boy these days, squealing, and blowing raspberries, drooling and chewing on everything, of course!  Noah and Asher's relationship is really beginning to blossom.  You can tell that they really like each other.  The first time I heard Asher giggle in the car, and I looked back to see Noah and Asher playing peek a boo with each other, and both of them laughing made my crazy days all worth it!  I just wanted to watch their little game instead of the road, but obviously, I had to drive.  :)  Asher and I go get Noah in the morning, and Noah smiles real big and shares his Mickey with Asher, and scoots as close to him as he can, and just stares at him, waiting for Asher to react, or grab at his hair.  Noah is happy to share his toys with Asher at the moment, so thats great!  

Funny, lately Noah has been photo bombing photos of Asher!  He will just come stand right in front of the camera and smile. It's so funny!  (See the bottom right picture)

Some things Asher is doing these days:

-Taking 2 naps, although many days he misses his morning nap, due to us doing things, but he is a trooper and is pretty happy in the Ergo carrier, and will cat nap in the car.

-He rolls over to his back now!!!  He mainly does this in his crib, but is known to do it every once in awhile playing on the floor.  

-Not crawling yet.  Not even scooting, BUT - the last few days I think he has gotten on his knees a bit.

-He can pivot easily to get to things around him.

-He LOVES food.  Wants whatever is near him to eat.  He will find the littlest crumb or string on the ground, (or trash) and put it in his mouth.  --Noah never did that.  And he is a picky eater... maybe this means Asher won't be as picky?  :)

-Has his 2 bottom teeth, they are coming in good now, and its really cute.

-Jet lag messed with him, and our all night sleeper is finally getting back to sleeping fully most nights, although maybe once a week or so he will wake up screaming and the only thing to quiet him is for him to eat.  Hoping this passes!
