I skipped a couple of months, so let's play catch up!
Asher is almost 2 years old! Time has flown by, and when I look at Noah, I can't believe he is already 4, and I like to think back and look at photos of when he was Asher's age. We moved to Scotland when Noah was 2 years, 1.5 months. Not far from where Asher is now, and it is hard to believe Noah was this size when we arrived here!
Things Asher is doing:
-wearing Noah's clothes that he was wearing when we first moved here.
-saying LOTS of words: Noah, mama, dada, Ash (Aaa), Crash, up, walk, mi-mow (mickey mouse), car, truck, nee-nah (fire truck), dee-dee (choo choo), crane, dump truck, tractor, too many food words to list, lots of animals, he tells me to stay, while putting his hand out, no, bed, he knows when he burps and toots, and tells us when he does, (so funny! i'm sure he learned that from dada)... probably many more words I can't think of.
-puts 2 to 3 words together
-loves to kick the ball, we may have a future soccer, I mean, footballer, on our hands!
-he throws anything, and often Noah has received the item in the head, face, back, etc.
-he has no idea what 'NO' means. I can scream it at the top of my lungs, and he just keeps doing whatever. we are using time out and hand slapping more now to try and help him in the 'NO' department.
-he goes straight to Noah when he is hurt or upset for a hug. the sweetest thing!
-he loves Noah's bed, he wishes he could sleep there. he gets mad when we take him from it when it is time to go to sleep.
-he loves books, taking them out of shelves, and reading them over and over.
-he loves his big brother so much! i love watching him say 'Noah, Noah, Noah,' while looking at his brother intently, trying to get his attention, just to tell him he has a grape in his hand. Many times Noah doesn't realize that Asher wants his attention, but Asher will keep saying his name until he looks at him!
-we had our first ER visit with this one. he cut his chin open while getting off a little foot scooter. he fell and hit his chin on another wood toy. luckily he didn't need stitches, just some glue, and it has healed nicely.
