Asher turns 2

Our Asher boy is 2 years old!!  We had a little family celebration, and our little shin dig had a slight 'nee nah' theme.
If I remember correctly, in the states, sirens of firetrucks and police are described as 'woo woo woo woo!'  But here in the UK, in books and such, it is described as 'nee nah nee nah nee nah!'  So that is what Asher says for fire trucks, well anything really that has a siren or light. Even a random work trucks that have lights on them.
I dug into my party supplies, and found everything I needed to make his little party special.  I even had those big balloons!  I just went and bought a party balloon helium tank and blew them up at home.  3 days later, they are still floating high!  The boys love them, and ran around as the balloons chased them.  I made a little can cake (they are my favorites to make for birthdays!) with fire ombre icing.  It turned out pretty good!
A quick little 2 year old update on Asher... he is talking so much, saying 3-4 words together, likes to say 'NO!' He "reads", or knows what letters and words are, thanks to Noah.  Whenever he sees a word, he reads it, and (always) says 'A-E-O-U'.  He wants to be exactly like Noah, down to the type of yogurt they eat, what color plate they have at dinner, etc.  He loves cars, and just really got into lining them up in long lines, just like a young Noah back in the day!  He really wants a big boy bed, but we know he isn't ready for it!  He loves to kick balls, and is actually really good at it.  I think we have a football/soccer player in the making.
We love our Asher, he is a joy, and it is so fun to see our boys bond and laugh and chase each other!  We are blessed.
