My sis is having her second child, a girl, in October. If you are familiar with my blog, you know that Morgan is a super sewer extraordinaire, sew... (can I use this pun anymore?!) I thought it would be appropriate for her baby shower to be a sewing theme!! I just wanted something to celebrate Morgan, and she loves sewing and fabric so much, I thought it would be perfect!! I can't give away any details right now, but I can show you the invitations that I made. My mom and I sewed the fabric envelopes, and I printed her invitations in simple dashed (stitch like!) font. Perfect! And what is great, I didn't have to buy anything for them. I am trying to use all my craft items I already have. Being resourceful!! I already had the paper for the invitations, and all the fabric. The envelopes are super simple, and were easy to sew. I was able to pass out many of the invites, but the handful that needed to be mailed, easily fit into a square envelope. Can't wait for Morgan to see all the sewing goodness for her shower in a few weeks!
