I finally had some time to take some photos of some handmade goodies I made weeks back, for 'baby A'. I have been wanting to make a cloud pillow (I like clouds) for awhile, and having another baby seemed like a great excuse for this project. I just drew out the cloud on the fabric, and cut away. Turned out pretty cute. I also made a couple of rattles and a receiving blanket. (And when I say I made the blanket, my friend's mom surged the ends of it for me. ;) ) The blanket is an extra big square (we found that store bought receiving blankets were always too small to swaddle really well!) of some soft fleece I found at Joann's. I love the pattern! I made a giraffe (or gaff! as Noah calls it) rattle from Lotta Jansdotter's Simple Sewing for Baby book. The arrow rattle I just drew up the pattern as I went along. Seeing as my sewing machine is now packed, and on it's way to Scotland, I am done with sewing for the baby. I got everything I really wanted to be made, done in time to be packed and shipped to Scotland. Phew! I have been busy the last few months!
