Our big boy turned 3 at the end of December. Time sure goes by fast! We had a little celebration while with family in Louisiana. I have had fun in the past planning Noah's birthday parties, but with us being away from home this time, I just packed a few, small, fun things to help make his day festive. Confetti, candles, animals, and a balloon. We spent the day at the zoo, (all the Baudoin's came!) and afterwards, we enjoyed a yummy Mexican food restaurant, and then we had cake and Noah opened his gifts. I used this idea, and baked his cake in a tin can. It was super easy, and I plan on making a little cake like this for Asher's 1st birthday too! I added a little giraffe with a homemade mini birthday hat on top. Noah enjoyed it and he loved his '3' balloon too.
