our new home

We have lived in Aberdeen for not even 2.5 years, and have lived in 3 houses!  (Well, technically a flat for a few weeks then 3 houses...) Our last house we really enjoyed, we had originally moved to that one to get more space with a new baby... it was one level, and had lots of space and land for the boys to run around.  We took a gamble with that rental, because there was an unknown timeframe on us living there, due to a future road being built right next to it.  Well the time came to where we knew we would have to be out of the house sometime this year, for the road construction to start.  With out a known date we needed to move, a baby due in September, and the Aberdeen rental market small, fast, and even smaller with a pet, we decided to start our search.  Once again, Jason found this gem, only 7 minutes from our old house (and Noah's school) out in the shire, :) with more land, and even more space inside.  I hesitated because of the location.  It was definitely nice, but the convenience of walking to the store, to Noah's school, wasn't there.  It came down to this house and another, and at the last minute we chose this one.  In the end, we figured we wouldn't have this opportunity to live in a house this nice, (with the help of a house allowance from Jason's company) and in SCOTLAND out in the country.  We can live in a neighborhood anytime!
We really hope and plan to stay in this house until we know what our future plans are.  (We don't.)  Noah and Asher are sharing a room, which is working out great, and the baby will have his own room, next to theirs.  We also are using the houses' dining room as a play room and I am just so happy that the toy mess has a contained spot!  I feel like the toys get played with more now, toys that have been forgotten about have become some favorites of theirs in the last few days.  We do have 2 sets of stairs and plan on adding baby gates, but so far, the boys leave them alone.
We are really happy we made the leap and chose to rent this house.  It has so much charm from the windows, floors, and white walls!  ;)  And the bathrooms and kitchen are top notch.  We are thankful the house stayed on the market long enough for us to snatch it up!
I will share a few more rooms as they are finished up... waiting on some things for the house before they are finished, but soon!
